About First Baptist Church of Wewoka
First Baptist Church of Wewoka exists to worship God supremely, love others sacrificially and to live in unity through the power of the Holy Spirit. The church was founded April 1, 1900 with 13 charter members who first met in the Courthouse. Its first building was constructed in 1901 at the current location; a new sanctuary seating 500 was completed in 1925, and the present sanctuary was dedicated in 1955 and remains the church's place of worship today. Mission theme: "Live Love Worship."
